The administration has reversed their decision and Gino will hold his senior recital as scheduled. I am deeply appreciative of your commitment to righting this wrong. We will remain observant to ensure he receives the support he needs for a successful performance.

Gino Ferguson is a senior violinist who has worked very hard to get where he is. He has put an immense amount of work into practicing and performing to the best of his abilities. It is saddening and even disheartening to see where hard work can oftentimes lead you. Sign this petition to show your support in getting Gino back onto his scheduled Senior Recital for Sunday April 10.

The momentum behind this effort has grown beyond my initial expectations. It is encouraging to see this level of recognition for the dedication Gino has displayed throughout his musical career.

Gino has every right to play in his senior recital. He was prepared to play in the student recital that was last Friday and it is unfair that they didn't let him. I watch him turn in the form on time. Senior year is special and Gino has worked hard to get his special moment!

This really has gone too far... Not giving him an opportunity to perform in front of his peers is doing the REVERSE of solving problems. I just don't understand why this was even necessary in the first place since it was just a minor mistake that we probably all make at one point of our lives.

I think this is absolutely ridiculous. Not only are they canceling a performance a week beforehand, but they are canceling a senior recital. A student only has one of those in a lifetime.

Whoever is reading his, please understand that Ms. John needs to be more professional when it comes to her students. It's not that she's a bad person but it's her attitude and her way of to aim high for your students but when a student isn't where you want them to be, why is it our fault? Gino has gone through so much to get where he is now and to be told he can't preform for something he's waited and practice for two years is disrespectful, unprofessional, and petty. Please let Gino preform. #freegino

As a senior student at SCGSAH in the music department, Gino is entitled to and has probably been looking forward to performing in his senior recital. This isn't right, and unless he has been removed due to some wild student conduct violation you have made the wrong call.

Senior Recitals are something that musicians look forward to from the time we get to this school. This is heartbreaking and unfair.
