ICMK has developed a successful touring screening programme: Vagabond Cinema; challenging ideas around cinema exhibition, working creatively and collaboratively with organisations and communities locally and nationally, targeting isolation and using cinema as a tool to enhance people’s aspirations. ICMK also runs MK Film Network; test screening films and providing practical training, talks and networking for local filmmakers. Our view of film is that it is a fantastic way for people to gain access to art of all kinds. We offer high quality, transformative experiences through our events; working creatively and considerately to make lasting relationships that will sustain the project and enable us to increase our activities. Our current audiences are wide ranging; from the dedicated cinephile to children on a run-down estates -we are passionate about film and passionate about making our city a culturally vibrant place to live in for everyone.
