Dear Randy Lerner,
I believe these words represent the sentiment of a majority of people that still call themselves "Browns fans". It has become readily apparent that the selection of Coach Shurmur is a colossal disaster. Shurmur has turned the Cleveland Browns into a joke. I understand the need for consistency in the organization, however what has Shurmur shown this year that would suggest that the Browns should waste yet another year. Shurmur does not utilize the talent that he does have on the team, Evan Moore. He does not tailor the game plan to emphasize players’ strengths, Colt McCoy under center. I could go all day with the poor clock management, poor predictable play calling, an NFL worst 5.9 yds per pass attempt average. By the way 5.9 is also the same average he had with the Rams. I do not see a light at the end of this tunnel. I am tired of waiting till next year. I am tired of teams like the 49ers turning it around in ONE year, while the Browns are consistently swirling in the toilet. The only consistent thing that Browns have accomplished since their return is poor management, poor coaching, and poor play. This so called product that marches on the field week in and week out, wearing a Browns uniform does not belong in the NFL. Speaking of the uniform, all white all year? Who was the genius that came up with that? This Thursday will be a game against the Steelers, a rivalry in my opinion that is dead. The Steelers are 18-3 since the Browns have returned. Well this fan has had enough, and so have the "fans" that sign this petition. This petition is for you to take notice that we are unhappy, we are angry, we are frustrated, and we are not going to take it anymore. Mr. Lerner you need to take charge of this team, or sell it to someone who cares.
