On February 17, 2014, Quandre Diggs, the 3-year starting cornerback at the University of Texas at Austin, expressed his disappointment on Twitter about not having a "top-five student section in the conference."
Quandre's Tweets:
-"The students really shouldn't have to pay for tickets because they pay enough for school to be real"
- "It's no way we shouldn't have the most students attending sports events we have 51K students!"
These past couple of years the engagement of fans in football games has been dismal and DKR needs some students to pump some excitement into the games!!!
