The PlayStation 3 Twitch app has been broken for some time... On March 26, 2018, a Facebook post was made to point out an update to the PlayStation 4 app, however PS3 users are still left in the dust & have to spend their time using other apps because Twitch refuses to fix the app, stating that it is no longer supported on PS3. Numerous attempts have been made over Facebook to bring this to Twitch's attention, none of those attempts ever received a response... Only after I contacted them through their email support system did they even bother to respond to the inquiries as to where the PS3 updates were & this only happened after I started contacting PlayStation through their support forums to see if we could get them to lean on Twitch a bit to get the app fixed. Twitch is still denying their responsibility in fixing the app & stating it is PlayStation's responsibility to remove the app from the store; PlayStation is stating it is the responsibility of Twitch to contact them & state they wish the app to be removed from the store. As of July 2nd, 2018, I decided it was time to start a petition for the purpose of pointing out how many people still use a PlayStation 3, how many people got stiffed by Twitch's decision to drop support for it & how much advertisement revenue they are potentially losing by leaving the app broken (that revenue going to other services that still support the PS3 console system).
