This is a petition to the Legislature of the State of Florida to pass a bill allowing both Career and Volunteer Firefighters the option to have a distinctive License Plate Tag displayed on their POV\'s (Personally Owned Vehicles). This is not to be a \"specialty tag\" like one which has been recently introduced where-as any resident of FL can obtain one but a tag which will recognize the vehicle as one owned by a Firefighter. Firefighters deserve such recognition and we ask that the Legislature pursue the matter at their earliest convenience.
