We, the undersigned, believe that Peter Robinson and Martin McGuinness, as the political figureheads of Northern Ireland, ought to show some leadership on the issue of climate change and attend the COP15 talks at Copenhagen starting on December 7th. Climate change is fast becoming the most important issue of our generation - in December the governments of the world will meet for the last time to decide how the issue will be dealt with. The fate of Against the backdrop of inaction on the issue in Northern Ireland, we think the FM / DFM should attend in person and realise the consensus that the rest of the world has reached on this. They are entitled to be there - they SHOULD be there!
