We, supporters of the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, demand that the government of Kenya enforce stricter laws regarding the poaching of elephants and rhinos to obtain the ivory and horns. More jail time and stiffer fines are needed. A slap on the wrist and small fines are not sufficient payment for the death of one of your natural resources. In addition, the government of China should be made to pay retribution for the loss of these magnificent creatures. We call on the Hon. Noah Wekesa, Minister of Forestry and Wildlife, to step up and protect these beautiful animals.
