I just stepped out of that town meeting and honestly the evasiveness from the board is getting hard to ignore. It feels like they hope if they just keep quiet and act busy we will all wander off and forget about that old place on North Main but that is not happening.

Let them show why the current town hall is not sufficient as this seems like a waste to me.
This subject should be voted upon by the town citizens. We elect you to work for us.
My parents live in the upstairs apartment and have been there for some time now,so instead of knocking the building down to make room for a parking lot how about rebuilding the apartments and give people homes instead making people homeless and worrying about a bar room making business
Stop unnecessary spending of tax payers money. the house is still occupied and there is no need to put people out of there homes. especially with all the health issues going around with covid-19. I find it unnecessary for the town of pine plains to be spending this money. When there are plenty of other problems or projects that this money can go towards
This is not the time for an expensive purchase. Everything has changed, this needs to wait.

There should always be a tax players vote on important issues that have a high cost.
Let them show why the current town hall is not sufficient as this seems like a waste to me.
