We all value our job that enables us to provide for our family, we also value our time with our families above all. This petition was created to allow all hourly Miller Coors employees to petition forced weekend over time. We strongly encourage management to work together with the hourly staff to reduce forced overtime on the weekend. That way we can all have the same opportunity that 95% of management has “to have weekends off with their families” we understand that not all overtime will be eliminated. Our ask is we do our best to make sure overtime is done with the employees in mind. This will help reduce family problems like divorce, while boosting moral. We never know what our schedule looks like and we’re sick of telling our families that we have to put this plant’s needs above them. Maintenance days should he scheduled where we can address all of the issues for that asset on said day. Why do we even have a maintenance day if the schedulers know they have work on Saturday or Sunday? It makes no sense, we can save money by scheduling work the right way. The only thing that should be happening on weekends is cleaning if the lines are down. After this petition is signed by 50% of the work force the petition will be sent to H.R and the plant manager with a time stamp. If nothing is done we will send the petition to corporate. We are willing to work towards a greater Molson Coors, we also understand that Molson Coors has a policy forbidding retaliation. We all love our jobs, but we love our families more.
