Free iPod
Formerly Open Source developers were able to develop software for the iPod. This software expanded the usability of the iPod and in no way broke any laws or ruined the functionality of Apple\'s software. Now Apple has decided to prevent us from developing software for it anymore. The reason for this is that Apple does not want people stealing their software and users were using this freedom to steal their games. This is completely understandable and we are only asking for a Boot Loader which at startup you can decide what you want to load. We are not asking for control over anything else as in any of Apple\'s software/firmware. The projects that would benefit from this are the iPodLinux Project and RockBox (Open Source Jukebox Firmware) and both of them are permanently stunted from developing software until Apple gives us freedom.
