I know that not everyone does not agree or understand this but please help me and sign this!!! This petition is for the courts to have something saying that you all see me as female and not male. As of right now I'm Mr Hayley Bisson. please help so I can take this with my appeal. In the state of South Carolina this is discrimination!!! As of June 2013, the Social Security Administration implemented a policy which allows for a transgender person to change their gender on their Social Security records by submitting either government-issued documentation reflecting a change, or a certification from a physician confirming that they have had appropriate clinical treatment for gender transition. This policy no longer require that an individual have gender reassignment surgery to change their documentation!!!!

I am honestly overwhelmed by the response to this request and I never imagined such a gentle show of kindness from so many people. This movement belongs to all of you because the growth of this effort was entirely unexpected on my end.

People shouldn't need to sign a petition for people to be legally recognized as who they are.
