I think silence would be fine, but they could at least lower the volume - it's almost as loud as the commentators.

The whining noise that French TV uses (for both the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia - produced by French TV) is particularly horrendous - it grates.

We know it's a helicopter. None of us think the camera is strapped to an eagle.

And now we're starting to get drone footage - with that awful drone noise.
