The town of Mooresville recently closed the skatepark because of "Unsafe Conditions", what happened is after Christmas all the kids got new scooters and skateboards. Once all the moms took their kids to the skatepark they started sitting on the obstacles, once they were asked to move people started moving the obstacles (which is totally allowed since its a primarily DIY park) and the parents didn't think it was safe so they reported it and the skatepark got shut down. we also want more funding towards the skatepark it's not much but it's all we have.
