Zanesawyer from the IMDb Resident Evil Forums has written a novelization for the film Resident Evil: Afterlife as well as the more recently Resident Evil: Retribution. Adding in back story and explanations for why certain characters are missing and or not shown, he writes in the same vein as Keith R.A. Decandido did with the first three Resident Evil Film novels. He also takes liberties with adding in game characters as well that do not detract from the films story but helps to add to it. If we can get at least 1000 signatures perhaps then we can get Paul Anderson and Sony and Capcom to get him to write the official novelizations for the films.
