We, Students and residents of the BNU Halls (Who pay thousands of pounds a year to be here) believe that we should be allowed to access sites which are essential to our learning here at Bucks New Uni. Sites such as Youtube and access to Microsoft Outlook. Other applications blocked include BBC iPlayer, ITV player, Sky Player, Xbox Live, PS3 Internet access etc. Students NEED access to these applications for education purposes. We are almost totally cut off from the outside world here now.. it's becoming a complete joke, and it's more like a Nazi-run Big Brother house here than student accommodation. We pay enough money for this so sort it out. There is literally no other University in the UK which has this much security! The wireless is also still not working for most students who haven't been shown how to access it and change their settings.
