Playground visitors have been forced to use the bushes or walk long distances to use a restroom. This has resulted in various health and safety issues: toddlers encountering human waste in the bushes, or caretakers "briefly" leaving their children in the playground to search for a restroom that is assumed to be nearby but isn't.
Please support the installation of a restroom for children, their caretakers and families.

I was just looking at the count and we are almost at five hundred which is wild because I remember when it was just ten people who cared about the bushes issue. We really need to keep this energy moving forward right now so if you could just text a few people to get those names added it would be huge for the meeting.

We love taking our grandchildren to this playground, but without a restroom it is a problem for preschoolers who can't hold it till they get home. And we don't like encountering human waste in the bushes - nasty & a health hazard!!
I live on the other end of the sunset next to the zoo and like to bike over to blue boat with my baby/toddler. The lack of bathrooms there is definitely an issue and would love to be a part of the solution. Please keep me informed what I can do further. Thnx
To have human feces and urine literally everywhere around the circumference of this playground is beyond disgraceful and unsanitary, not to mention the already abundant needles, trash etc. Please help to improve this amazing space by ensuring sanitation and putting in a bathroom.
My children, who are adults now, played at the Boat Playground when they were young. We always had to leave when they needed to use the restroom. Now it would be wonderful for my grandchildren to have access to a restroom so that we won't have to leave before we're done playing!
This is super important from a public sanitation and safety issue - I've seen kids race to the pushes in times of urgency, only to happen upon an area where transients are inhabiting. Please put a restroom here! Thank you.
A playground needs restrooms. More restrooms in the park are always welcome to those who walk in the park as well.

My son loves this park. Our family and our daycare frequent this playground and it would be great to have a restroom, especially for those potty training! There are several picnic tables, so any party goers would need a restroom in close proximity as well.
