Why should students have to pay more for a hot meal at uni when they can bring in their own meal from home?
Being a student means long days at university as well as in the library, which obviously requires brain food. Massive downfall for those who can’t afford a regularly £6 on food. Or for those who are not even able to do so due dietary requirements. And what about the students with medical requirements such as diabetes or a metabolic disorder? And of course simply for every single student out there who wants to eat their own cooked food!
By giving students provision for publicly available microwaves on campus it will give them the freedom to not be withheld to stay on campus and maybe even more important; save us money and hopefully promote a healthy diet by encourage more students to get cooking!

As someone with both Diabetes and an Eating Disorder, it is really important for me to be able to eat food that I am comfortable with and know is suitable for me; so a microwave would be graaaaand!
I think microwaves should be made available to students so we can bringour own food in, as the food in the canteen is very expensive
Go Vivian! Help make our student loans go further - we're not rich! We can't afford £6 per day for our lunch. I would love to see this on the other three campuses too!
Sick of eating cold pasta every single day because I cant afford 7 quid for a burger in the canteen. Please just put some microwaves in the library space
I think it would be really usefull for students who does not live near the campus. Nowadays, you can just eat cold food if you bring your meal from home.

We definitely should be able to get this after we pay so much to come to university. Shouldn't be difficult for the university to give this to us.
