As a member of the Goldfields community of South Africa, we are gathering signatures to secure our licence with ICASA (The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa).
Gold FM has a growing foothold in the local community where talks are done on current affairs, local artists get their moment to shine and charities get the chance to express their needs across the air and make their message heard.
The Gold FM Community Radio Station was founded in 2013 , to provide and
advance the Electronic Communications in a form of Radio Frequency Transmissions and to serve as a Community Sound Broadcasting Service to the Community of Lejweleputswa and the surrounding areas,
Whereas in the course of fulfilling its Constitutional obligation, the Voice of Gold FM shall emerge as a leading Community Radio Station in Free State Province guided by unity, non – racialism, non – sexist Broadcasting Principles and Policies.
Gold FM Community Radio value Community members, Strategic partners and interested Stakeholders in the Radio Industry, it has come to be recognized as a Community Radio Station of value with social, cultural and interfaith religious principles.
