To the Members of the Essa Minor Hockey Association Board,
I, *, hereby submit this motion to address the concerning conduct and actions of Vice President Baird within the Essa Minor Hockey Association ("EMHA"). It is with regret that I bring forth this motion, but I believe it is necessary for the integrity and well-being of our organization.
Whereas:
1 Vice President Baird's conduct has been consistently contrary to the values and objectives of the EMHA, including breaches of the EMHA's Code of Conduct and failure to uphold the responsibilities associated with his position.
2 Several documented incidents have highlighted Vice President Baird's inability to fulfill his duties effectively and ethically, leading to disruptions in the smooth functioning of the association and discord among members.
3 Numerous complaints and concerns have been raised by EMHA members regarding Vice President Baird's behaviour, indicating a lack of confidence in his leadership and suitability for the role of Vice President.
4 Despite attempts to address these issues internally, Vice President Baird has failed to demonstrate meaningful improvement or accountability for his actions, necessitating more decisive action to safeguard the interests of the EMHA and its members.
5 We have lost executive members due to Vice President Baird's behaviour, many of whom openly confirmed that he was the reason they were vacating their positions, further indicating the detrimental impact of his actions on the association's leadership team and overall functionality.
Therefore, be it resolved:
1 That Vice President Baird be immediately removed from his position as Vice President of the Essa Minor Hockey Association, effective immediately upon the passing of this motion.
2 That a special committee be established to oversee the transition process and ensure continuity in the functioning of the association's leadership structure following Vice President Baird's removal.
3 That all necessary steps be taken to communicate this decision to Vice President Baird and the EMHA membership in a transparent and respectful manner, emphasizing the association's commitment to upholding its values and standards of conduct.
I urge all members of the Essa Minor Hockey Association to carefully consider the implications of Vice President Baird's continued presence in his current role and to support this motion in the best interests of the EMHA and its members.

I wholeheartedly support this blight's termination, or his resignation, whichever comes first. For too long he has intimidated, bullied, harassed and belittled the players, parents and coaches. When challenged, he maliciously and vexatiously silenced or terminated anyone who called out his unethical behaviours. His lack of transparency and accountability towards his vile antics is disgusting, and should no long be tolerated. Too many incredible people have left EMHA due to this man, and it's time he leaves. You have my full support.
I’m no longer a member of EMHA, but I can assure you that during my children’s time there, Graham was nothing but a self serving narcissist who would do anything to better his own agenda. Including belittling young children and bullying their parents. Once we made our way to another hockey association, we realized how toxic an environment he single handily made EMHA. Time to go and refocus the association on the mandate of providing a health environment for youth hockey.
As a former EMHA Executive member, I can attest to the corruption that this motion speaks of. Vice Present Baird is the reason I resigned my position 2 years ago. It is time he is held accountable for his behaviour. I wholeheartedly support this motion!
He should have been removed after he asked my son if he had a good time finger banging his girlfriend because the next time he missed practice would be replaced.
It is disappointing to say the least that this man remains on the executive and continues to perpetuate untruths all while never being accountable for his own behaviours. The effect his behaviour has had on his players can be lifelong. Putting our minor players in priority is the only mandate our hockey association should have. Some of this man’s players will feel the effects of his bullying for the rest of their lives. It’s time to step up and protect the minor members of our association!
We've lost too many good honorable people leaving EMHA already because of this dirtbag he needs to be kicked out for the kids sake and the community.
Sounds like some change is needed. It’s my kids last year so I don’t care, but no sense all these people being frustrated year after year creating a toxic environment.

This guy is a complete bully. He yells and swears at his players, other teams, and refs. He acts childish when he doesn’t get his way, and goes out of the way to make anyones life a living hell who doesn’t back him. He is the definition of a bully. He and his buddies on the exec that are backing him need to go, especially his manager who is the most 2 faced person out there. Slime attracting slime.
