This petition is in support of granting Parole to Keyon Sprinkle, Inmate # w80055.

Keyon Sprinkle was convicted of 1st degree murder in 2002, and sentence to life in Prison. He has been incarcerated since 1999, age 17. Mr. Sprinkle has been eligible for Parole as of November 2014 due to the Juvenile Law passed that's says no minor shall serve life in prison without eligibility for parole.

Mr. Sprinkle has spent spent nearly 16 years institutionalized, yet maturing and educating himself; as well as supporting and staying connected with his family, and friends on the outside. Through it all he continues to maintain a claim of Innocence, and has gained the interest and support of the Massachusetts Innocence Project, and Goodwin Procter Attorneys.

He has used positive outlets such as Anti-Violence Programs, Groups, and Organizations within the system to occupy his time, give him a different outlook; aid him in making better decisions, and keeping him out of trouble.

Mr. Sprinkle is now 33 years of age, a father of 3, and has been successfully married for almost 10 years.

We are asking that Mr Sprinkle be granted parole, and given the chance to reintegrate into society, be a positive example for others, and reconnect with his family.

His hearing will take place next month, and this petition will be presented to the Parole Board for review.
