Petition to San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom & San Francisco Board of Supervisors. We, the undersigned, feel that the decades-long \"Halloween in the Castro\" street celebration should be preserved and continued with the use of community planning and full support of San Francisco city resources (funding, public safety, coordination of departments, annual planning, etc.). We feel this annual tradition builds community, preserves and advances LGBT culture, builds tourism and revenue for the City, and keeps San Francisco as a world-class city.
