Hello! My name is Hannah Lynn and I am running for the position of 3L Class Secretary for the 2023-2024 academic year!

While at Detroit Mercy Law I have had the pleasure of serving as the President of the Immigration Law Association (ILA) and President of the South Asian Law Students Association (SALSA). During my 1L year I held the position of Vice President of SALSA and 1L Representative of the Women's Law Caucus. I have enjoyed playing a part in these leadership positions among the school's many student organizations. I have regularly been attending BOG meetings since Winter 2022 and believe I have the qualities of a strong leader necessary for this position.

Prior to law school, I worked as the Publicity Director for the Michigan Pops Orchestra (the largest entirely student-run collegiate orchestra in the country) for two years during my undergraduate career at the University of Michigan. In this position, I oversaw public relations for the orchestra. I communicated with local organizations and made sure that our orchestra’s concerts were publicized within the Ann Arbor Public Schools system, to help foster youth engagement in the arts. We had some of our highest audience turnout and regular participation in campus events helped boost overall orchestra morale.

I believe that I have the qualities of an effective, diligent leader and 3L Class Secretary. As your law school peer and colleague, I am graciously asking for your vote today. Thank you for your time and support!
