Let\'s Keep Heather Irwin at Rotman
Rumours are swirling about that Professor Irwin may not return to the Rotman School next year, and not because she does not want to. We know that she has been a very popular Professor for years, and feel that she has added a dynamic and interesting perspective to teaching both Corporate Financing and M&A. The reality is that successful practitioners like Heather Anne Irwin help provide a balanced education to Rotman students. The classroom experience Professor Irwin provides helps prepare Rotman students for the real world working in Finance. Heather Anne Irwin is also the Founding President of Women in Capital Markets (www.wcm.ca). WCM was established in 1995 to advance the involvement and impact of women in the capital markets and to be a positive force for change in the industry in response to the evolving business environment. We strongly believe that Professor Irwin should remain at Rotman and would like your help in convincing the Finance Area/Rotman Administration that she should be offered a contract that allows her to teach these courses each year.
