Help End Animal Medical Malpractice
At the present time the New York State judicial system limits the responsibility of veterinary practitioners to restitution of the purchase price, or replacement value of the animal who’s suffering and demise was directly caused by veterinary malpractice. This is because N.Y.S law categorizes our pets as “chattel” property. I have written a bill called "Lucky's Law." This bill, if passed into law will protect our pet (companions) from negligent veterinarians by holding them liable for pain, suffering, and even death caused by their malpractice. I am presenting "Lucky's Law to N.Y.S Government, if the bill is to succeed in becoming part of legislation I need to show support by New Yorks constituents. If you believe that veterinarian should be held accountable like other professional, and that pets should hold more value than pet replacement, as if a ruined or destroyed toaster-oven was to be replaced then please sign my petition and contact your state and local governments.
