We, concerned citizens and parents of children in Newton Public schools, demand that the Administration and the School Committee work with NPS teachers to reach a signed contract, which represents appropriate compensation for teachers and staff. We are aware that our teachers have not had a cost of living increase in years and that their salaries are well below the salaries of our neighboring educationally comparable towns.
