Connecticut House Bill 7084 seeks to require restaraunts to pay servers the full minimum wage. Presently restaraunts are allowed to take some of their Server's tips and pay them less than the normal minimum wage. This is unfair. Those tips are left for the server not the restaraunts. This law will increase servers wages by almost 50%! Some claim that the reatarants will retaliate by banning tipping. This is not true. California has a law like this and people still tip at California restaurants!

Being paid less then minimum wage is unfair. How am I supposed to pay the bills when I get $50 biweekly and work late friday, saturday, and sunday nights while still in high school barely making $150 in tips.
Support this law and help servers. Tips should be left for them not taken by the restaraunts!
