I am highly disappointed because 14 years ago, she was my AP Junior English teacher. Thankfully, she didn’t treat me with disdain as an African American female, but it doesn’t make it ok for her to treat others who look just like me with hate.
I have a black son entering Wylie High school in the fall. I do not want his introduction to high school to be marred with the presence of such hatred and bigotry. My son, and daughter who follows him, deserve a safe environment free from this type of disgusting mentality.
There is no way I will feel safe sending our daughter to a school that employs bigots. I'm not teaching her that nonsense at home and I'll sure not have her learning it at school!
Mrs . Anderson has always been a racist since I was in high school in 2009 . She should not be around kids but yet year after year there are accusations against her that keep getting brushed by . "The Wylie Way" yeah do something about that .
i live in wylie and it pains my heart to hear that one of our teachers would ever say something like this. she doesn’t deserve to work in a school with one of the most diverse student populations in texas. she is a shameful excuse of a teacher.
She needs to go. This is not okay! Your job is to teach not to take your personal feelings out on others expectually not on the children you are teaching! They are kids. The Ignorance these days!
I’m a teacher and I’m appalled!! Our job is to make every child have a safe, loving place no matter what their circumstances are

When people ask me about my experiences with racism in the classroom, several instances with Cindy Anderson come to mind first. And thats across several years of education including a bachelors and masters at private PWI. Happy to share my stories.
