As the Southeast region of Michigan continues to expand and reach new and improved heights, a dire need has been created for the youth who are members of these communities. It is estimated that only 13% of all children who reside in Southeast Michigan are currently getting the adequate amount of exercise needed to reduce certain, serious, health conditions. In an effort to get kids more active and give back University of Michigan's standout running back, Chris Evans, has devised a plan to re-engineer and revitalize youth sports in Southeast Michigan.

We have located a five acre lot, which happens to be five minutes from the University of Michigan's campus. Our goal is to develop the land into an outdoor multi-sports complex, which focuses on soccer, baseball, football, and basketball. This five acre lot will contain six multi purpose fields, four baseball diamonds plus a training facility complete with six indoor basketball courts, along with a weight room, batting cages, 50 yards of turf, and a 100 yard multi indoor bubble!

We will make this complex, which is the first of it's kind in Southeast Michigan, the go to spot for all youth who live within the boarding counties. Our main interest is to create a community atmosphere where all kids benefit from what we have to offer. The saying "it takes a village to raise child" will reign supreme as kids will have access to life necessities, outside of sports. From mentoring, to ACT/SAT tutoring, and Big Brother and Sister programs. We will be involved in the children's life, every step of the way. There to guide ,lead, and role model them into successful young adults.

We're currently in the process of submitting a grant proposal to the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. foundation and also soliciting potential donors to help offset the cost that goes behind this innovative idea. Before we display anything we want to show them that we have the backing of our community and that our friends and family not only support us, but are willing to work with us to bring this dream to fruition.
