Some of the residents of the Neighborhood: "Hills of Santa Fe" (off of NW 98th St in Gainesville) are concerned with the speeding in the neighborhood. We are requesting that more police enforcement supervise the neighborhood and help us resolve this issue. There are a lot of children in this neighborhood and no sidewalks.
We have noticed that delivery service trucks, like FedEx and UPS, are also speeding through. There are curves in this neighborhood that make it impossible to see what is ahead, making it dangerous to speed. Here is a list of residents who are concerned and would like to see more supervision and a change in the neighborhood:

The speeding in our neighborhood is a constant worry for me as a parent. Children have to walk through our neighborhood on their way home from school with cars and delivery trucks speeding past them. Without sidewalks and with blind corners, this present s a very dangerous scenario. Please do not wait until there is a fatality to fix it.

Need help from speeding.
Like all other neighbors def concern on the amount of speeding in the neighborhood. Please help us make our neighborhood safe for our children to enjoy.
There are a ton of speeding and reckless drivers.
I am very concerned about the speeding in the neighborhood, and for the safety of our children who would like to play, ride bikes, etc. here.
Please help stop the speeding in the neighborhood.

Please help us protect our neighborhood. In the past four years a skateboarder was hit by a car, a,mailbox was runover, a tree in a front yard was struck and a car ran up onto a front porch. We need help! Please help us regain OUR neighborhood.
