Homecoming canceled because of covid? Or are we being over cautious in the wrong ways? I think it is ridiculous to cancel such a big event for a silly reason. If we are able to go to school full time and not sit six feet apart while wearing masks then what's the difference doing it outside. Why are we able to play after school sports including team sports but not have homecoming? I am not sure. I believe our administrators could have put more time and effort into this decision, this all seemed very rushed. There are many options we could have explored before canceling homecoming. Last year we were still in the pandemic yet we found a way to still have prom, I believe we can do it again yet this time with homecoming. The more people to sign this petition better our chances of getting homecoming to happen!

We deserve a damn homecoming dance, how can we have a prom last may when over half of the people weren't vaccinated and we can't have a homecoming when more than half of people are vaccinated, there are plenty of ways we can safely have one.

Literally makes no sense that we can sit in crowded classrooms all day but a dance is somehow the problem. Just let us have it.
Seriously? We already lost enough stuff last year. Give the seniors a break and just make it happen.
Are you kidding me? We have football games every friday with everyone packed in the stands but a dance is too dangerous? Give me a break.

I feel as if covid has ruined so many events for so many of the students in the school, and we keep letting it. Students are able to go to school full time now, so why can’t we just let the students have that one night. Make sure all students are wearing masks and let them have their fun for the first time sense covid has entered our lives.
