Argos recently listed a Hotpoint deal for £216.98

People asked Argos via live chat and were told the price is correct and not a misprice.

Despite customers being told it is not a misprice Argos on Monday decided to tell everyone it was a misprice.

There is an element of lying here!! Come on Argos take responsibility for this!

The momentum behind this petition proves that we will not let Argos dismiss our valid purchase agreements as simple mistakes. Copy the link to this page and text it to three friends who also received conflicting information from their support team.

I also purchased this machine and was told it wasn't an error. got a text back saying I will be getting a refund. Argos didn't even have the guts to call me to talk about what happened. really bad service from Argos. so disappointed as I'm always purchasing goods from them

Also had the price confirmed by the live team so beleived this was real. Many people asked for confirmation, so how Argos can refuse this transaction is not clear. Come on Argos, you have many peoples money due to your staffs misinformation, do the decent thing.

You accepted my money and passed my order to Hotpoint for delivery to be arranged. That means you have accepted my offer to buy at the advertised price which your representatives have already confirmed is not a pricing error. This is a contract in law which you are failing to honour.

My washing machine has just broken. With a newborn and a toddler I need a replacement ASAP. I now won't be able to order another until my money has been refunded. Very disappointed with argos.

Very disappointed that Argos will not fulfill my order. I believed this was a genuine online offer as i order online and in store with Argos all the time. The fact my account was debited makes this even worse. Argos should processes my order in good faith.

Bought this washer dryer, Argos took 2 payments for 1 order. Rang customer services on the storecard and website was told that the price was correct and to call back tomorrow to speak to finance to have the 2nd payment refunded. Then @ 4pm receive a sms saying the orders are cancelled! Not happy.

this is the second time in 2weeks Argos have taken my hard earned money for a product that was either out of stock or mis pricesd. Quite frankly I am shocked that the system they have in place 1. Cannot Correctly advertise an items costs and 2, identify errors and rectify these promptly. Today I had a call apologising for the inconvenience and asking whether I wanted a 50 pound voucher of anything or 100 pound off any washer dryer. Unbelievably I was told they needed an answer immediately. Heads up Argos but some of us are busy at work and are not in a position to make instantaneous decisions. How dare you take money from my account, earn interest on it and then have the audacity to make me chose my compensation on the spot. Where are my consumer rights?
