This is a simple petition to quantify the amount of students that have been so greatly affected by Dr. Patricia Houser. At the end of this semester, Dr. Houser will no longer be a full time faculty memeber of the Geography Dept because there is no funding to offer her a Full-time tenure position. I think it is about time we put the pressure on the department, and the school to do something to keep her with us. We need to look more at how they affect the people they teach, rather than their title or rank. If you feel that Dr. Houser has positively influenced you or someone you know from CCSU, please sign this petition. Hopefully with this support, we can get the ball rolling and encourage some of the "higher authorities" to help her out.


As an aside- please do no mention this to Dr Houser or any other teachers at school. Dr. H would not want to make a big thing of it and doesn't know this is being done. I appreciate your understanding.
