Hoyler-Hunt Fight Against Cancer
The
Hoyler-Hunt Fight Against Cancer is an opportunity to bring awareness to
Cancer; more specifically, pancreatic cancer.
Roughly
789,620 men will be diagnosed with cancer this year. Out of that number it is
estimated that 569,490 of those men will die. A large majority of men are not
diagnosed early enough to successfully treat their cancer, and this is due in
large part to the lack of awareness.
Cancer
is something that has directly affected both Hoyler and Hunt. Bill Hoyler was
diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer 5 years ago and has been fighting it ever
since. Brian, on the other hand, became aware of the devastating effects of
pancreatic cancer this year when his father was diagnosed with this deadly form
of cancer.
Pancreatic
cancer is one of the DEADLIEST CANCERS
Pancreatic cancer is the 10th most commonly diagnosed cancer and the 4th leading cause of cancer death in the United States.
It
is the hope of Hoyler and Hunt to raise awareness of this deadly form of cancer
and to fight it at every step. Both longtime fans of Mixed Martial Arts, the
two thought that the Ufc would be the perfect match for raising awareness of
the deadly effects pancreatic cancer and to fight it to its end.
Hoyler
and Hunt are on a mission to not only fight pancreatic cancer, but to also team
of with some of the fiercest fighters on the planet. It is their hope to gain
the attention of Dana White and the Ufc to put together a fight card for a
special night of fights to put pancreatic cancer in its place.
Hoyler
and Hunt are collecting signatures and reaching out to Dana White and the
Ufc and Scott Coker and StrikeForce in hopes of raising awareness, raising funds, and helping those with
pancreatic cancer fight the good fight. Please join us on our mission and this
Fight Against Cancer.
