On March 7th, 2024, a child was struck by a careless motorist while walking to school. This intersection has been a major center of accidents, near-misses, and general disregard of others' safety in the Strathmore neighborhood and beyond. It is our desire that the city of Syracuse place a stoplight at that corner to increase safety for both children and adults.

This intersection is an absolute nightmare during rush hour. Someone is gonna get killed if they dont put a light in soon.
