This is a petition to request in the recognition of ex New York Knicks basketball player Charles Oakley's status as an all time great player and legend for the New York Knicks franchise.
Charles Oakley's body of work as a member of the organisation is well documented, being a key player in the 1994 playoff push to the NBA finals, a contributor for the eastern conference finals in 1993 and an all round fan favourite for his incredible effort and integrity on the court.
Leaving him out of the New York's Knicks legends does the fans of the franchise a disservice, as well as the franchise itself.
