We, the students of UJ , hereby express our collective concern regarding the quality of signals lectures delivered by DR N E Mabunda. We have observed consistent challenges in the teaching approach, which significantly hinder our understanding and impede the learning process. He doesn’t know his own content, brushes over important concepts. doesn’t come to class prepared ( He started one lecture of stating and I quote “I haven’t seen these slides but we will work through them together”). Also when going over important maths principles he clearly isn’t putting in any effort/ or has no idea what the maths actually is(This is seen through him littrely saying “you get this answer because of this” however we don’t know what “this” is.

Despite our dedication to learning, DR N E Mabunda often appears unprepared for classes, neglecting vital concepts and brushing over crucial material. This lack of preparation adversely affects the clarity and depth of our understanding, leaving us struggling to grasp fundamental concepts.

Furthermore, the erratic flow of content in DR N E Mabunda lectures creates confusion, as important concepts are seemingly skipped or presented without proper context. This disjointed teaching style impedes our ability to build a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.

We, the undersigned students, respectfully request a thorough review of the signals lectures and, if deemed necessary, the intervention or replacement of DR N E Mabunda. We believe that a more effective and prepared instructor would greatly enhance our learning experience and contribute to our academic success.

Thank you for considering our concerns and taking appropriate action to ensure the quality of education at UJ
