Many students depended on the final exams to get into City, university of London or Cass Business School. Taking away that opportunity is stressing out many students and worrying them about the final predicted grade that they will receive as well as others with exams having to worry about getting the highest possible grade because of high weighting. Students also believe that the grading process does not fairly represent the effort nor academic progress. Furthermore, the final exams would’ve consisted of 70% whereas the coursework and the exams in December only consisted of 30%. Thus, being marked based on that 30% does not add up. There is no doubt that the covid-19 pandemic has affected the mental health of students and staff alike, the added uncertainty from our current situation only adds to our problems. I believe that INTO City students should be prioritized into getting into the first year of city University of London’s course or Cass business school.
