Kids in Iowa are being returned to homes that fail them. We (foster parents, social workers, family members, neighbors) have seen this happen. It is heart wrenching. We want it to stop.
We want kids in the Iowa foster care system to be given their best shot at life. We are asking our legislators to put kids first. The Iowa House of Representatives has produced draft legislation:
