Petition: Isaac Newton Acquah is My Warwick SU Communications Officer

The undersigned note

 - that on the 15th of March 2010 Union Council passed a motion of no confidence against Isaac Newton Acquah, the then Communications Officer, by 21 votes to 17

 - that the said motion was passed as emergency business

 - that this was due to an alleged breach of the Constitution by Isaac Newton Acquah

 - that Isaac Newton Acquah has apologised for the actions which resulted in the emergency meeting

   The undersigned believe

 - that the Constitution is important and should be upheld

 - that if the Constitution was in fact broken, Council was right to take action against Isaac Newton Acquah, but that the passing of a motion of no confidence was disproportionate to the alleged violations

 - that the student body has confidence in Isaac Newton Acquah and that he should be reinstated.

Please note: Signatures without a valid Warwick email address will no be counted towards this petition.
