Start correctly sexing murderers and rapists
Most media organisations in the UK are currently gaslighting the public by referring to male defendants or offenders as women if the men in question identify as women.
This gives the false impression that there has been a sudden dramatic increase in the number of violent crimes and sex offences committed by women.
In a string of notorious cases, national and local media have referred to 'women' being found guilty of rape – an offence which under UK law can only be committed by a man.
The most recent example is the case of Scarlet Blake, a 26-year-old man who identifies as both a woman and a cat, who was convicted on 23 February 2024 of the murder of Jorge Martin Correno. Most of the media reported this as a crime committed by a woman. Their failure to report the facts accurately is deeply offensive to the murder victim and his family, to women and to anyone who believes that truth matters.
Enough is enough. Journalists know that they are talking about men. It's time they stopped lying to the public. We call on the editors of the UK news media to report these crimes accurately.
