The YU Student Constituion requires that the "The SOY/JSC President must live either in a University dormitory or apartment or RIETS apartment." RIETS students are allowed to serve as the President of SOY but would then be required to be pay the cost of undergraduate housing. As current President of SOY, Jason Jacobs was a undergraduate student for the Fall 2009 semester and lived in housing. Now, during the Spring 2010 semester, Jason has graduated and has moved to a private apartment and is facing removal from his position. The requirement to live in University housing while in RIETS is unfair and is financially not feasible. To support Jason, sign here:
