Their volunteer-runorganization is making tremendous contributions to park, the Treme, and thecity’s cultural economy. In support of their important community and culturaldevelopment initiatives,I urge you to provide them the use of Armstrong Park for Jazz in the Park events with no Park Rental or Live Entertainment fees.
Please help ensure that Jazz in the Park can continue as a free event andArmstrong Park can continue to be a beacon of light for our community and thewhole city.

I spent the morning meeting with community members who rely on these free sessions to keep our local culture alive. The costs being pushed on the organizers threaten to shut this down for good. Call the Mayor's office today to demand that they waive all rental and entertainment fees for the park.

The momentum behind this effort is undeniable and the Mayor is beginning to take notice of our collective demand. Email the Mayor's office today to demand that these fees remain dropped for our park events. Post this link on your social media accounts to keep the pressure high.

I am a local and I always look forward to this. Brings everyone together to enjoy our wonderful local music and is something special for the community. I love Jazz in the Park. Please continue it.
As a soon to be resident of New Orleans and the Treme I would like to encourage you to support the Jazz in the Park so it may continue as a free event. Events like this encourage community spirit and also capture the hearts of visitors to our city. There are some things that bring joy that do not come at a cost. Thank you for your consideration
It's time dear Mayor that you return the favor and get rid of these ridiculous fees so that locals, yes, locals are your taxbase too, let us have our free concerts, it's good for the city. If not, hmmmm, we'll think of something good!
Please allow the citizens, musicians, and park patrons who utilize and who have revitalized this community treasure to continue to use the facility at no cost. Please insure a musical legacy for all of the people and friends of New Orleans.
Keep the park accessible to everyone! Jazz in the Park is the heartbeat of the Treme and charging these fees is just wrong. Stop trying to squeeze every penny out of our culture.
This beautiful park is the most underused venue in the city.

Please stop the constant increasing of City fees that threaten this valuable program in my neighborhood of Treme that does so much to benefit the City, our Culture, and the at risk youth who work these events.
