Please sign and circulate (do not donate) this important petition to urge Las Vegas entertainer Jeff Civillico to withdraw his participation from Best in Show, an annual fundraiser and dog auction, held by Vegas' shameless, high-kill shelter, The Animal Foundation.

The Animal Foundation, the shelter I was rescued from, is a black eye to the animal-loving city of Las Vegas, killing over 21,000 animals last year. They have a notorious track record for killing thousands of animals who are healthy and treatable, even as rows of kennels sit vacant. Some of the frequent reasons animals have been destroyed at the Animal Foundation are for mere ear infections, cracked teeth, allergies, superficial wounds, etc. For others, timidness and fear are a death sentence. This needless killing goes on all while they have over $3.5 million in savings and receive $3.9 million in tax dollars annually.

We have reached out to Jeff Civillico, and even though he now aware of the alarming facts presented to him, he has stated he will continue to host the event.

Does Jeff Civillico care that tens of thousands of animals are needlessly killed each year at The Animal Foundation even as plenty of kennels remain vacant?

Does Jeff Civillico care that animals with minor medical issues (ear infections, fractured teeth, wounds, URI's, allergies) are often not treated and killed by the Animal Foundation?
