Help Get A Stretch Of Missouri Highway Named For Joe Delaney
Kansas City Chiefs running back Joe Delaney died a true hero trying to save drowning children. We are trying to get a stretch of Missouri highway near Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City named in his honor. One hundred signatures of support from six contiguous counties are required by the Missouri Department of Transportation in order to proceed. If you support this effort, and reside in the Missouri counties of Jackson, Clay, Cass, Lafayette, Ray or Johnson (must be Johnson County, Missouri, not Kansas), please sign electronically, including your mailing address and county of residence, as we aim to memorialize Joe Delaney with this honor. (Please note that having a work address within one of the six listed counties is not sufficient for MODOT's residency requirement. The address you provide must be your primary residence.)
