Nike has a history of unfair treatment towards its workers. Though all of its factories are now in Asia, it is here that workers are payed lower than minimum wage, extremely overworked, work in bad conditions, exposed to chemicals, suffer from respiratory illnesses, physically and sexually abused. These workers are just trying to earn a living for their family, and yet they cannot even pay for their own food. They have clocked 300 hours in overtime over the legal limit of 200 hours per year. Their superintendents refuse to move them to other departments, away from carcinogenic chemicals and frequently beat and grope at female workers. This must come to an end.
