On November 1st, 2016, just two days after his 17th birthday, Demoraea Fennell was shot in the head and brutally murdered in Durham NC. Jaquinta Cole (25) ex girlfriend of Fennell's (17) , is being held on murder charges in connection to Fennell's murder. Following his murder, Jaquinta Cole went on the run evading the police for 2 weeks, then finally being apprehended in Monroe LA with one of two male accomplices Nikee Black (26).

Jaquinta Cole is now requesting bail from Durham county jail. Demoreaea's family and friends are asking that you please take this time out to sign this petition, denying her bail. She is not only a flight risk but, it's unfair to his family for her to be released when they've lost their loved ones life. A child has lost her father that she will never meet, a mother has lost her youngest son, and siblings have lost their youngest brother. One's life is worth more than any amount of money or bond. He lost his life but please help us ensure that he does not lose this fight. Please help us get justice for Demoraea.
