These recognitions underscore his dedication to upholding the highest standards of policing. In addition to his distinguished police service, Mashiur Rahman has positively impacted countless lives as an English teacher, always striving to uplift and educate his community.

We, the undersigned, respectfully request:

2. Due consideration of his exemplary service record and character throughout legal proceedings

On a personal note, I have known Mashiur Rahman for over 21 years, and I can attest to his honesty, integrity, and dedication. As our teacher at Dhaka Commerce College, he selflessly offered free tutoring to underprivileged students and shared his own meals with those in need. Despite being eligible for a prestigious foreign ministry position, he chose to serve the nation as a police officer, driven by his commitment to positive societal change. It is truly heartbreaking to see him facing such hardship, potentially due to recent geopolitical challenges in Bangladesh.

ব্যক্তিগতভাবে বলতে গেলে, আমি মশিউর রহমানকে ২১ বছরেরও বেশি সময় ধরে চিনি এবং তার সততা, নিষ্ঠা ও আত্মত্যাগের সাক্ষী হয়েছি। তিনি যখন আমাদের ঢাকা কমার্স কলেজের শিক্ষক ছিলেন, তখন তিনি দরিদ্র ছাত্রদের বিনামূল্যে পাঠদান করতেন এবং যাদের খাওয়ার সামর্থ্য ছিল না তাদের সাথে নিজের খাবারও ভাগ করে নিতেন। পরবর্তীতে, তিনি পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ের একটি মর্যাদাপূর্ণ পদে যোগদানের যোগ্যতা থাকা সত্ত্বেও, জাতির সেবা করার উদ্দেশ্যে বাংলাদেশ পুলিশে যোগ দেন। তার মতো একজন নিবেদিত ও মেধাবী অফিসারের এমন পরিস্থিতিতে গ্রেফতার হওয়া সত্যিই হৃদয়বিদারক, যা সাম্প্রতিক ভূ-রাজনৈতিক পরিস্থিতির ফলাফল হতে পারে।
