On January 13th, 2003, Sarasota Florida retiree, Murray B. Cohen, was a victim of a cold-blooded pre mediated murder committed by his wife of three weeks, Maria Amurrio. The Sarasota Sheriff's Department who has jurisdiction covered up Murray Cohen's murder by falsifying, altering and destroying evidence. Murray Cohen's family has suffered excruciating anguish for almost nine years over his murder and the denial of allowing justice to be served.  

Therefore, we request Florida Governor Rick Scott, appoint a special prosecutor, order Florida Deparment of Law Enforcement to do a full blown investigation into the true cause of Murray Cohen's death. This Petition will be mailed (in snail and email format) to Governor Rick Scott on December 31, 2011.
