A Guatemelan family in Edmonton is set to be deported. They are to be split up, three going to Guatemala on July 12, and the other four going to the U.S. on July 10th. A person who was going to help the family with their application left them without a trace and stole several thousand dollars. The family had no idea they were undocumented. Moving back to Guatemala would be a "death sentence". If we bring this to the Canadian Immigration Minister, Ahmed Hussen, maybe we could get justice for them.
